Kelly is a BCBA and understands that each child's journey with SM is very different and therefore takes an individualized approach with various service options available. Through a behavior analytic lens, Kelly looks at both the external environment in which the child or teen finds difficulty communicating as well as exploring how their internal environment may be contributing to their Selective Mutism. Through parent interviews, assessments, a medical records review, and understanding client's goals, Kelly will work with families as a team to develop the most appropriate interventions. Kelly offers virtual services as well as services in-office, in-home, in-school, and within the community depending on the needs of the client. Session length will vary between 15-60 minutes depending on individual client needs and are typically done once a week.
Fees:
A Behavior Identification Assessment will be done with the parents prior to starting services. This includes a 30 minute parent session to determine goals as well as 30 minutes of intake paperwork review. The fee is $145 and uses the billing code 97151.
Client sessions are billed per 15 minutes at a rate of $36.25/15 minutes with the code 97155.
Parent sessions are done weekly for 15 minutes either before or after the client's session for the first month, or longer if necessary. Parent sessions will then take place once every 3 months for 30 minutes to discuss progression towards current goals as well as creating new goals if necessary. Rates are the same as above and are billed with the code 97156.
Individual intensives are available. Fees will be discussed with the families after evaluating the client's needs.
Insurance:
Kelly does not take insurance, but will offer a Superbill for families to send into their insurance companies for possible reimbursement. It is recommended to contact your insurance company prior to starting services to determine eligibility for reimbursement. This is the sole responsibility of the family.
Payments:
Invoices are emailed at the end of the month with payments due by the 15th of the following month. Payments can be made via Credit Card, Cash, Check, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. A late fee of 5% of the unpaid balance will be added for any invoice paid after the 15th.
